Chers amis,
l'autorité de la province de GUIZHOU (贵州省) a vraisemblablement entendu l'indignation tant en Chine que dans le reste du monde, suscitée par une « tradition » sanglante et archaïque qui se déroule chez la minorité de Baiku Yaozu (白裤瑶族) consistant à trancher violemment le cou d'un bœuf avec un couperet jusqu'à ce que ce dernier s'écroule :

Voici quelques extraits d'une réponse venue du Conseil des Affaires Ethniques et Religieuses de Province de GUIZHOU:
« ...nous attachons une grande importance sur cette affaire et le sentiment de l'opinion publique suscité. »
« ...Une enquête sur le lieu où il y a une concentration de la population concernée a été immédiatement ordonnée et effectuée. ... »
« Couper le cou d’un Bœuf est un culte légué relayant une autre tradition cannibale...Aujourd'hui, cette pratique n'existe PRATIQUEMENT plus. Pour répondre aux besoins de certains touristes qui cherchent quelque chose pour son étrangeté, quelques commerçants organisent ce genre de spectacle, ils font face alors aux condamnations des Locaux et les autorités locales interdisent le spectacle. »

The authorities of the GUIZHOU (贵州省) province have apparently heard the outrage in China and also in the rest of the world, caused by a bloody and ancient "tradition" which takes place in the Baiku Yaozu minority (白裤瑶族) which consists in violently striking the neck of an ox with a cleaver until the animal drops:

« Chopping the Neck of an Ox is a cult which has been handed down to replace another barbaric cannibalistic tradition... Today, this custom has ALMOST disappeared. In order to respond to the needs of certain tourists who are looking for something for its strangeness, some tradespeople organise this sort of performance; they are then faced with the closing of the premises and it is stopped by the local authorities »
