English version below (merci à Maxine)
28/09/2015 :

WHAT HAPPENED IN FOSHAN (佛山).GUANGDONG (广东省)?
WHAT IS « INOFFENSIVE TREATMENT
28.09.2015:
Having received a call for help from the volunteers, the volunteers of Chengdu, Chongqing, Tangshan, Hebei, Guangdong etc. hurried to DALI (大沥). FOSHAN (佛山) : the biggest disposal centre of stolen cats and dogs in China.
Every day at least 10.000 animals coming from the HENAN, HEBEI, SICHUAN and JIANGSU provinces are slaughtered here.Several slaughtering points of big numbers of cats and dogs are « scattered » around a lake : a fish breeding farm. Among these animals, many are pedigrees.
We arrived near the slaughtering places. At our arrival, (strangers) most of the slaughterhouses closed their doors.
A worker was moving the cats and our volunteers were interposed to stop him.
During our nocturnal search in a hideout, a little white cat ran in front of us, very unsteady, and thin as a rake. When we picked him up we discovered his 4 paws were infected, full of pus, and his little body was giving off a terrible smell.
We took him back to the hotel, and tried to give him food and water, but being too weak to swallow anything, he died at the hotel:
In the cages we found dead cats, pregnant cats, most of them dehydrated, suffering from heatstroke. They pant, mouths open : They haven't drunk for a long time:
Through the doors ajar, we took photos of the people "in charge" of the slaughtering, quickly grab hold of the cats with tongs before pushing them into linen bags to transport them elsewhere. 10 bags are filled in record time:
Then, they ran off leaving 4 bags, the cats were all dead, suffocated.
In the light we see a black cat already mummified. He escaped the killing, but without water or food, he died in silence, completely exhausted:
All the time the cat traffickers insulted us, calling us crooks, "Falungong", saying that because of us, China will disappear. And all the time, we kept our self control, without answering, avoiding possible fights.
Each time we were overcome with sadness, we told ourselves that first of all, we must work, we don't have time to cry, or the energy to be sad, we have to save as many cats as possible.
On the spot, a policeman, speaking in the local dialect, was encouraging the villagers to smash our cars.
Several thousand cats were set free by the traffickers : to avoid leaving any proof.....
In shock, some of the cats leapt into the water.
Others came close when we called, then went back into the cages:
Wanting to drink, some cats fell in the water:
The white cat we can see in the box was dying : he was very weak. Even so, he looked at us, mewing softly, probably asking for help:
On the spot, there are many cats in the same state:
With no communication with the volunteers, the local quarantine service decided to call this event concerning a thousand cats :
« INOFFENSIVE TREATMENT
Entrance forbidden, taking photos forbidden, the places of « Innofensive treatment 无公害处理 » were masked by huge sheets. Where the terrified cries of cats "being treated" continued to come from inside:
The volunteers tried to cross the safety line in order to go in, but in vain.....Whereas, earlier, the traffickers were able to..
Not being able to stand this, a desparate volunteer threw herself into the water, and was saved later by other volunteers:
When at last, we were able to enter, this is what we saw of the « INNOFENSIVE TREATMENT
Despite traces of cleaning, we discovered lots of fresh blood on the ground:
Broken sticks :
This is the « INNOFENSIVE TREATMENT
more than a thousand cats were massacred !!
We went to the Public Visit and Petition Office to have some explanations:
The same evening, 50 to 60 dogs were slaughtered by the traffickers, "anxious" to destroy evidence :
The traffickers insulted us, threatening us with knives :
Several volunteers' cars were wrecked:
Two people who reported illegal acts were injured by the traffickers and policemen :
A hundred or so policemen surrounded the volunteers:
All the volunteers were taken to the police station, two of whom were detained:
10/10/2015:
The militants were freed today. BUT ...
( Thanks to Animal Rescue Center of XUZHOU )
24 /12/ 2015:
The "Old Ladies of Beijing Anti-Ill treatment", together with friends, went to the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture in order to denounce the very serious default of the local services in this matter.
They handed over proof to the ministry and demanded an enquiry in order to punish the wrongdoers. The veterinary service of the ministry accepted the case file. The ministry then contacted the service of agricultural affairs, asking that an enquiry be carried out.
With their hands, they made the shape of a heart, in tribute to the cats that were so brutally killed:
THANK YOU FOR THESE CATS , FRIENDS IN CHINA! ! !
