Le 19 octobre, une série d'actions sur la protection de l'environnement, la protection animale, le végétarisme, les bonnes manières pour élever son chien et l'adoption des animaux errants a été lancée une fois de plus par le Comité Spécial de XIAMEN pour la Prévention de la Cruauté envers les Animaux (厦门市爱护动物教育专委会)
Environ 40 volontaires venant de l’École des Langues Étrangères de Xiamen, du Lycée Shuangshi, de l'Université de Xiamen, de La Maison de A-Fu ont distribué aux habitants plusieurs milliers de documents sur la protection animale et un millier d'éventails avec écrit les slogans « Occupons-nous du sort des phoques. Refusons les produits issus des phoques ».
Une chienne du refuge A-Fu, nommée « Petite Génie », y était très coopérative : tout le monde pouvait la caresser ou la porter...
Les élèves du Lycée Shuangshi et ceux de l’École des Langues Étrangères de Xiamen y ont été très actifs, leurs diverses activités ont attiré l'attention de nombreux habitants, beaucoup ont signé leur nom sur la banderole.
LIN Guanyu, 10 ans, le plus jeune volontaire, venant de l’École des Langues Étrangères de Xiamen, n'en 'était pas pour autant le moins actif : il a distribué sans relâche les documents tout en criant aux passants : venez voir ces supers documents : il ne faut pas manger ni chiens ni chats, il ne faut pas maltraiter les animaux, il ne faut pas acheter de produits ( issus ) des phoques...
Cet événement a attiré des dizaines de milliers d'habitants de Xiamen.

On the 19th October a series of actions was launched once more by the Special Committee of XIAMEN for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ( 厦门市爱护动物教育专委会 ): protection of the environment, protection of animals, vegetarianism, the civilised manner to train one's dog, and the adoption of stray animals.
Approximately 40 volunteers from the Xiamen Foreign Language School, the Shuangshi High School, the Xiamen University, & the A-Fu company, handed out several thousand documents to the inhabitants on animal protection ; a thousand fans with the slogan " Take Care of the seals. Refuse all seal-based products " were also distributed.
A dog from the A-Fu shelter, called "Little Genius", was very helpful....everyone was able to stroke him or pick him up....
The pupils from the Shuangshi High School and those from the Xiamen Foreign Language School were very active and their different activities attracted the attention of numerous inhabitants, many signed their name on the banner.
LIN Guanyu , 10 years old, from the Xiamen Foreign Language School is the youngest volunteer, and yet he wasn't the least active : He gave out documents non-stop, all the while shouting out to passers-by : "Come and see these great documents : cats and dogs must not be eaten, animals must not be ill-treated, don't buy seal-based products "......
This event attracted tens of thousands of Xiamen inhabitants...
